Recently, a delegation led by Dai Minhan, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), Director of the Lujiang Innovation Laboratory, Deputy Chairman of the Xiamen University Affairs Committee, and Dean of the Faculty of Earth Sciences and Technology, visited Seahi Robotics for research and strategic exchange.

The visiting delegation included key leadership from the Lujiang Innovation Laboratory: Zhou Hantao (Executive Deputy Director), Lin Mengmei and Yu Tao (Deputy Directors), Yu Jiancheng (Chief Engineer), Shao Zongze (Leading Scientist), Li Bo (Advisor), Zhao Kebin (Chief Investment Officer), Liu Xiaojie (Investment Director), and Huang Yiya (Head of Industrial Development). Chen Xiaobo, Founder of Seahi Robotics, and Cao Ying, Co-Founder, hosted the delegation and participated in the discussions.
Academician Dai Minhan highly praised Seahi Robotics for its industry-leading technology in marine robotics. He noted that the deep integration and convergence of marine science and intelligent robotics represent a critical trajectory for the future development of deep-sea technology. He highlighted SEAHI’s continuous focus on core marine robotic technologies, adding that Xiamen University—one of China’s earliest institutions to study marine science—along with the Lujiang Innovation Laboratory, looks forward to deepening collaborative efforts with Seahi moving forward.
Chen Xiaobo emphasized that Seahi Robotics has developed world-leading general-purpose marine robotic product lines and technologies. Powered by CEORION, the world’s first large language model for marine embodied intelligence, Seahi’s "Orca" series spans 12 major categories of underwater application scenarios, including inspection, non-destructive testing, and cleaning. During the meeting, the SEAHIX deep-sea robot also made its public debut. Chen expressed Seahi’s commitment to establishing deep cooperation with the Lujiang Innovation Laboratory across key areas such as intelligent seafloor monitoring networks, deep-sea carbon cycle data collection, deep-sea scientific and energy exploration, and talent development—jointly driving the high-quality growth of the marine economy and fostering breakthroughs in marine scientific research.

To date, Seahi Robotics has completed underwater cleaning operations for over 1,000 vessels. In partnership with China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC), the company launched the world’s first offshore photovoltaic (PV) maintenance robot and has established routine operations across more than 10 core hubs, including the Ports of Yantai and Tianjin. The Orca marine robot has been successfully deployed across smart ports, offshore engineering, and maritime service sectors, serving clients across multiple countries and regions worldwide. From vessel hull cleaning and offshore PV maintenance to smart port inspections, Seahi Robotics leverages its full-stack, in-house developed technologies to continually expand the boundaries of marine intelligent operations—converting new quality productive forces in the marine sector into robust support for national maritime strategies.
