Seahi Robotics Secures Global Ocean Robotics Sector's Largest Financing Round to Accelerate High-Quality Marine Economy Development

Recently, Seahi Robotics announced the completion of its Series A financing round, raising over RMB 1 billion. This represents the largest single round of financing in the global ocean robotics sector to date.

New strategic and financial investors in this round include Shanghe Momentum Fund (industrial investment arm backing Moore Threads and Iluvatar CoreX / Kunlunxin), Vertex Growth (under Singapore’s Temasek Holdings), China’s largest agricultural industry fund under CITIC Group, Honor Capital, and listed entity Broad-Ocean Motor. Existing shareholders, including GSR Ventures, Vertex Ventures China, Cybernaut / Sparkice Capital, Feldspar Capital, Tsing Capital / Shengjing 360, and Anya Capital, all participated with major over-subscriptions.

 

Proceeds from this round will be primarily allocated toward core technology R&D, global market expansion, and industrial chain ecosystem construction—accelerating the scaled deployment and reliability enhancement of marine robots in complex underwater environments. Marine Embodied AI Model "CEORION": Ushering in a New Era of Autonomous Operations

On April 25, 2026, Seahi Robotics officially released "CEORION", the world's first marine embodied AI foundation model.

 

Unlike traditional underwater robots that rely on manual remote control or pre-programmed routines, CEORION empowers robots with superior perception, understanding, and autonomous execution capabilities in complex ocean environments. Featuring a unified end-to-end architecture, CEORION integrates environmental perception, task comprehension, and motion generation into a single unified model, trained on both real-world operational data and simulation datasets. Simulation Benchmark: CEORION achieved over 90% task success rate and over 90% precision manipulation and grasping success rate, matching the skill level of professional human divers.

Zero-Shot Generalization: Facing unfamiliar maritime environments, water quality conditions, lighting changes, or varied robotic platforms, the model demonstrated a zero-shot adaptability exceeding 70%.

 

The core difficulty in marine scenarios is not merely seeing targets, but comprehending the physical environment. In turbid waters, low-light conditions, and complex ocean currents, robots must integrate multi-source sensory information and possess physical reasoning capabilities. In CEORION's architecture, Seahi Robotics integrated a native physical reasoning module, enabling the model to predict potential risks and optimize decisions prior to motion execution. Internal test data indicates that this capability reduces collision rates by 80%. Even in weak or zero communication environments, robots can autonomously perform task planning and execution.
