On October 16, the World Maritime Equipment Conference grandly opened in Fujian. Seahi Intelligent was invited to attend the opening ceremony and, based on its outstanding capabilities and innovative achievements in the marine economy sector, was successfully selected as a major project in Fujian's marine economy. This highlights Seahi's significant role in advancing the marine economy and green development.

At the opening ceremony, distinguished domestic and international guests including Zhu Yongxin, Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference; Zhou Zuyi, Secretary of the Fujian Provincial Party Committee; Zhao Long, Governor of Fujian Province; Li Zhongjun, Vice Governor of Jiangsu Province; Voulkoulith, First Vice President of the Senate of Cambodia; and Paul Paolo, Third Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of Vanuatu, attended and delivered speeches. Leaders from national ministries including the Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, alongside industry authorities such as former Secretary-General of the International Maritime Organization Lim Ki-jae and Academician Huang Zhen of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, shared professional insights. Seahi partners including Chairman Cai Tianzhen of Quanzhou Ocean University and Chen Xiaobo, founder of Seahi Intelligent, attended the opening ceremony to jointly contribute proposals for global marine economic development.

At the opening ceremony, speeches by former IMO Secretary-General Lin Jizhe and Academician Huang Zhen of the Chinese Academy of Engineering charted the course for global maritime equipment industry development. Only through technological innovation and model transformation can the industry collectively address these challenges and seize new opportunities in the green transition.

Academician Huang Zhen began by examining the context of energy transition, noting that the world has entered an era of new energy and low-carbon development. China's rapid progress in new energy has laid a solid foundation for the green transformation of the marine industry. He emphasized that as a major carbon emitter, the shipping sector faces urgent emission reduction demands, driving accelerated innovation in marine propulsion systems. From an industrial perspective, China's green fuel projects continue to increase in number, with some already operational. Orders for green fuel vessels have grown significantly, demonstrating a clear trend toward industrial scaling. However, Academician Huang also proposed recommendations: accelerating the opening of green fuel application markets and refining green fuel standards systems are essential to clear obstacles for high-quality industrial development.


Data from the International Maritime Organization (IMO) indicates that regular ship cleaning is the most effective carbon reduction and eco-friendly solution for vessels. The marine robotics sector targeted by Seahi precisely responds to the industry's “green and intelligent” trend.
