Forbes China has officially released its “2024 Forbes China Innovators” list, with Chen Xiaobo, founder of Seahi Intelligent, making the cut as the sole representative in the field of marine robotics.

This year's selection focused on four core innovation sectors: artificial intelligence, high-end manufacturing, chip semiconductors, and biopharmaceuticals. Ultimately, 70 “Innovators Reshaping Industrial Landscapes” were chosen from tens of thousands of companies, earning the accolade of China's tech innovation “Oscars.” Joining Chen Xiaobo on the list are global technology, internet, and manufacturing luminaries such as Lei Jun, founder of Xiaomi Technology; Liang Wenfeng, founder of DeepSeek; Wang Xingxing, founder of Yushu Technology; Feng Ji, founder of Game Science; and Zhou Shouzi, CEO of TikTok.

As a technical leader with 18 years of expertise in underwater robotics, Chen Xiaobo is not only a recipient of the “Young Scientist of the Maritime Power” title but also holds the prestigious First Prize for National Defense Science and Technology Progress. He has secured the championship at the China Robot Competition for three consecutive terms. To date, he and his team have accumulated over 50 national patents, with core technologies spanning critical domains such as full-water-domain robotic propulsion systems and intelligent navigation algorithms.


The marine general-purpose robots developed by Seahi Intelligent are designed to achieve super productivity at depths ranging from 0 to 10,000 meters underwater. They have been deployed in multiple domestic ports, contributing to the nation's maritime power strategy and significantly advancing the marine economy.
